FAIR INNOVATION
Course participants, partners, and subcontractors agree, upon registration in Innovation Support’s online portals and systems, to this Fair Innovation agreement, a commitment with International Innovators LLC (IntInn) to conduct ethical, moral, and legally correct cooperation with other parties regarding collaborations aimed at solving problems and developing ideas into innovations.
Fair Innovation means that collaborations take place from a fair, equal, and gender-equal perspective where all people have equal value. The Fair Innovation agreement is made to encourage increased, positive, and less risky cooperation between parties, including avoiding or minimizing costly legal processes.
The Fair Innovation agreement is signed between IntInn and the registering party regardless of affiliation.
Contents
Fair Innovation means that parties who initiate a discussion, carry out cooperation on development, procurement, sign agreements/arrangements on licensing and/or sales of a concept or idea, invention, and/or innovation, shall meet and work in a manner that safeguards each party’s ethical, moral, and economic interests.
A party shall not make false statements about a circumstance with the intention of subsequently starting their own production of the idea, invention, or innovation that has been discussed through copying or improper takeover. Furthermore, each party shall own the rights to their idea, invention, and innovation until otherwise agreed in writing. Agreements between the parties shall be established in the same manner according to Fair Innovation and shall ensure that no party is placed in an improper situation, disadvantage, harm, damage, or loss.
The use of bribery and corruption is a criminal act and violates Fair Innovation.
The Safe Innovation protection program offers more specific advice and support to protect the development of innovations.
A party who engages an idea carrier/inventor is responsible for ensuring their physical and mental work environment.
